History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Baern took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up quarterstaff and armor he uses now. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Baern never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Oriax was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. Some 2 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Sumnes never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.
