Description: This eastern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. His silver hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He has gleaming, smiling hazel eyes.
Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is frequently practicing swordplay.
History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When Jak reached his early adolescence his Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he's looking for his big break

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His golden hair, when down, is lengthy. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.
History: Born to a Priest, his father struggled to pay the bills. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and wants to work out more often

Description: She appears as an extremely gaunt Halfling, and stands approximately 3'2". She dresses well, wearing white shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time, and her gloved hand is found clutching a trident. She has a long silver ponytail with little hanging trinkets. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.
Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Barrister who has hired her part-time. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Euphemia is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.
History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
Motivation: To settle down with her crush.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.
History: Shaena was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.
Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality.

Description: A 5'11" northern man, he wears a black vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His tan leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his black boots flare out at the collars. His chestnut hair is unkempt and raggedy. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Tiefling in existence. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
Motivation: To unite with his sister.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His small hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.
Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: She got into the Unemployed business at a young age. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. She's also a talented Layabout, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people.

Description: She is an exceptionally muscular looking western young adult. She is dressed in a clean tan cloak covering her clean studded leather. Beneath her clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. She has blonde hair. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.
Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes drow are coming to abduct people. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.
History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. In her 14th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She tends to her Mercenary job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Mercenary responsibilities is difficult; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
