Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Gardain was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ahlyssa fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Shipwright who has hired him part-time. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He is a Slaad in disguise. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Orc companion (his 'brother'). He got money to start a business from the gang present in town. He is greatly indebted to them.

History: She was born in a small plains village. Xanaphia was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Xanaphia decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: Gifted from a young age, Ida studied abroad. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has achieved small success as a Tanner.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gifted student she started as a Priest, but she got bored and became a Jeweler. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Dragonborn artifacts is her passion; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

Description: A pudgy man standing about 6'0" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His white hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He has several tiny topaz earrings on each ear.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. The war was a terrible time for him, and Lûgnak does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Lûgnak grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Lûgnak. After months of barely getting by, Lûgnak managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.
