History: The child of a Tailor, who enjoyed hunting, Mantus was taken on many hunting expeditions. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mantus fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She disdains her fellow westerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born in the west to a Guard, Bune learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Dworic alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against gnolls

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: Born to a Scribe, her father struggled to pay the bills. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is her passion; and to reunite with her old friends

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Jarana was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dwarves became a terror of the countryside. She was granted druidic powers by her dying sister.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. Thorpe is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born to a Cook, his father struggled to pay the bills. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his necromantic talents. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Her brown eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She works hard and plays hard.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers
