Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He became a Mortician soon after.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Guard arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the east were limited. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Cecily grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: She has a crush on the local Stableman; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and her religion dominates her actions

Description: She is a physically imposing light-skinned woman. She tends to wear a large tan jacket. She has wavy white hair. This amber eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Cumpen is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the south. Through the years after Cumpen was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Cumpen's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His first spouse was a Architect, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Being a Layabout kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Tharivol hails from a village terrorized by orcs. At some point he was captured by orcs and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and obtaining odd cultural dragonborn artifacts is his passion
