History: Fabien hails from a village terrorized by drow. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Fabien was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Fabien fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Pearl hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Pearl alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many brigands want her driven away.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Being a Sellsword kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her father.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Ploughman arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. Her white hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a rose scrunchie. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her gray eyes.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Slave Trader. After a long history of fighting, Drusilia and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and balancing her hectic life and new slave trader responsibilities is difficult

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Balifra has worked very hard to control her curse. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: He dresses in black turtlenecks beneath a tan coat with black slacks, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'7" when asserting himself. His long white crest is drawn into a two foot long braid. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady red eyes.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was raised in a island tribe. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage.
