History: Born in the east to a Barrister, Bernard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. After coming to the age of reason, Bernard took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered south to less war torn lands. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: Gaaki hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Her parents were killed by illithids in a raid when she was still a young child. The illithids captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Gaaki was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Orthog was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Tanner. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
