Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Map Maker. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: He was born in a small plains village. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and regain custody of his daughter

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Marastyr alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and her religion dominates her actions

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. The war was a terrible time for him, and Peren does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born in the west. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Peren was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
