Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Rolen hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Roger was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.
