Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Oren embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting giants, the young Vonbin began to lead the lost caravan. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: She is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing blue cape and mantle trimmed with soft white waves gently in the breeze. She carries with her a set of scimitars on her belt, each one with a jet on the hilt. She has wavy chestnut hair. Her eyes are likewise amber.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Shamil is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her first spouse was a Jeweler, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was born in a small island village. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Weaver and was forced into it by her family; and to protect her home

Description: He is a pot bellied southern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is a Spice Merchant first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Orryn was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Orryn decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently the stress of being a Spice Merchant has made it difficult for him to sleep.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

History: Art lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He found a children's book about a Tabaxi Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Elven artifacts is his passion.
