History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Hunter liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Tordrid grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Priest they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Guard, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he seems to be bored by most things

History: Born in the east to a Herbalist, Purah learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She tends to her Herbalist job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.
