History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Sarah was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Sarah decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tieflings became a terror of the countryside. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Godfrey alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has taken up work as a Laborer and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Gruk's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Gruk was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tiefling companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: She got into the Bounty Hunter business at a young age. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tiefling companion (her 'brother'). When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He found a children's book about a Halfling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Astaro was born with her mother's beautiful face. When Astaro reached her early adolescence her Tiefling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying sister.
