History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has worked as a Miner like her father before her.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.
History: He got into the Engraver business at a young age. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He struck the Engraver job and began his own company from there.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.
History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Elven companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her father.
History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Her parents were killed by illithids in a raid when she was still a young child. The illithids captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and someone believes her a fraud

Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she wears a robe, a symbol of the sun god around her neck, and a scythe on her belt. Her hair is auburn and curly. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines amber.
Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.
History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Unvera's homeland. Unvera decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She now mingles about in high society.

History: Thorpe was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now owns his own business.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Blacksmith but believes her peers are too gung-ho.
History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Merla abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and to reunite with her old friends
