History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and doesn't want to be a tanner and was forced into it by his family

The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and doesn't want to be a mortician and was forced into it by her family
