Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Performer arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered south to less war torn lands. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Pennie took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up ceremonial dagger and armor she uses now. She has never given up on her dancing dream.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When Mella reached her early adolescence her Elf father passed away.
