The war was a terrible time for her, and Matilda does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Elven conditions. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the west; and to settle down with her crush
