Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Halflings. His skin is dark but he possesses many black ritualistic tattoos. He wears red robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a dagger, but if one is not available he will default to his halberd. Sporting a red mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. He has several tiny jet earrings on each ear.
Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Unemployed arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

Description: He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His attire stands in sharp contrast to his whip, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a dagger on it. His hair is red, silky, and of moderate length. He is baby faced.
Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Glim's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Seamstress arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Glim was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Description: A moderately attractive woman, she wears brown leather gloves, a brown jacket, and tight pants. She keeps her blonde hair in a pixie cut. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.
History: She was born in a small mountains village. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Bardryn took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up monstrous two handed axe and armor she uses now. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.
Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: He is a Spice Merchant first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.
History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Spice Merchant. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
