History: She was born into a rich family. Elama was born on a far southern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Map Maker. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Hadarai was born the youngest of three triplets. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Born in the west to a Map Maker, Fonkin learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Map Maker. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Laborer. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

She has wavy golden hair. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Maegan embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Maegan was born with her father's beautiful face. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Description: A woman with a cold, calculating air about her, she wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally she sports a black coat. Her black crest is knotted and matted. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Kadana's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Kadana grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Kadana. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.
