Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Meriele fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact.

History: She is a Deep Scion in disguise. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. History: Kellen was born with his father's beautiful face. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Beggar work with an outfit from a few towns over. Beggar work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
