Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Description: An older man who wears a simple blue robe with green stripes complete with hood, he is not a threatening figure. He has moderate length blonde hair. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his violet eyes.

Personality: He hates Elves with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

His violet eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He uses divination through singing.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Kildrak alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and a deep hatred of illithids

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He dresses well, wearing brown shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. He has a chestnut handlebar mustache and slicked back chestnut hair. His blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to find somewhere to settle down

Description: He is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. He carries with him a set of greataxes on his belt, each one with a ruby on the hilt. He has a long black beard with little hanging trinkets. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his dancing with anyone who is interested.

History: Percival was born with his father's beautiful face. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
