History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. After a long history of fighting, Torbera and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Alston lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Drifting was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Doctor. She has worked as a Doctor like her mother before her.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A gifted student he started as a Laborer, but he got bored and became a Knight. He tends to his Knight job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and wants to open a new tavern
