Description: An older man who dresses well, wearing brown shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time, he is not a threatening figure. His hair is long and red with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small brown clips. His beard is black, braided, and well cared for. His violet eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bookbinder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This younger middle-aged man has a large tan mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his blue robe, and a wedding ring on his left hand. He wears a small hat to hide his balding. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady violet eyes.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Rolen was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. Through the years after Rolen was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Rolen's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Barber profession.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Scribe responsibilities is difficult; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Eridred will drive conversation. She seeks to pay back kindness whenever she gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip she always seeks to do solids for her friends.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Eridred grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Lia was born with her mother's beautiful face. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.
