Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Kelter alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born in a small desert village. In her 20th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Nuraval was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: The child of a Mason, who enjoyed hunting, Syllin was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense.
