History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Junk Dealer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Joan's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Some 6 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Joan never married again.
