History: Snafû was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Animal Trainer they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Knight, and she later adopted a second son.

Description: She is wearing a long, yellow, dusty cloak. She is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly halberds and spears. Her hair is always cut to a buzz. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: Valanthe is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Half-Elves.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Valanthe liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and dwarven compassion

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His childhood dream was to be a Body Guard, but he was a colossal failure. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Detective and was forced into it by his family; and half-elven compassion

Personality: Volen hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Shipwright business.

History: Volen was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her parents enrolled her in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that she could practice her necromantic talents. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and she has passion for adventuring and risk

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Tabaxi conditions. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Personality: Qualen wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
