Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. She takes great joy in being the best Crown-heir in town.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Through the years after Smoking was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Smoking's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She became a Crown-heir soon after.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Frederick grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is his passion.

History: Oppleby was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.
