She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it; and she is unsatisfied with her job

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hoshgrish fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

History: Born to a Sage, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: Galiena hails from a village terrorized by giants. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Tailor for hire.
