History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Hethress was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A freak accident while working with her Slave Trader father left her crippled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ermina grew up listening to her father's many stories. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

History: Joan was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Fisher hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor.
