History: Shifting was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Beggar. She has worked as a Beggar like her father before her.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and sabotage a competitor

Description: She is a husky woman, who is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her chestnut hair is still thick. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Ranala's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Ranala abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Her amber eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Half-Orc in existence. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Ruler. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the west were limited. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Description: This younger middle-aged woman wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath her coat, and a wedding ring on her right hand. Her head has been shaved. This gray eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Pyntle embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and to reunite with her old friends

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. The war was a terrible time for her, and Jarana does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Gifted from a young age, Jarana studied abroad. She found a children's book about a Dwarf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
