History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. When Pyntle reached her early adolescence her Gnome father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Fulbar embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: He was born in the west. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. After a long history of fighting, Fulbar and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Guard but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She was born in the east. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying east to reunite her family. She tends to her Guard job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and further expansion of business

Personality: Andraste wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Andraste was born on a far eastern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Brewer. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Born to a Sailor, his mother struggled to pay the bills. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
