History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Guard mother left him crippled. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Tiaathque was born with her father's beautiful face. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is his passion

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She was born into a rich family. When Unvera reached her early adolescence her Gnome mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Quelenna lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Quelenna liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. A gifted student he started as a Servant, but he got bored and became a Merchant. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
