History: Born to a Bather, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Torbera lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Ruler.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and to reunite with her absent father

Description: A moderately attractive woman, she wears dull black sweaters, loose grey pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath her sweater she keeps a concealed kukri, just in case. She has moderate length green crest. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with writing. She constantly tries to fill her life with writing. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She was raised in a desert tribe. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Ruler work with an outfit from a few towns over. Ruler work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Motivation: Expand her business; and she is unsatisfied with her job

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tabaxis in Emerald's homeland. Emerald decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and to reunite with his old friends

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Navigator; and he is greedy

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To be a Ruler again.

He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. He worked as a nervous Apothecary and found it very stressful. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and retire the richest man in the south
