Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Servant but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a Courier, his father struggled to pay the bills. Through the years after Barendd was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Barendd's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.
