History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Her father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Tordrid was heart-stricken from the event, and her mother started working long hours to provde for them. She became a Shipwright soon after.
