When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Barkeep hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Shoemaker.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she feels kind of lost in life

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep gray.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, John was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born in the south to a Bather, Cumpen learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. A gifted student she started as a Detective, but she got bored and became a Bather. She now owns her own business.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Halimath and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and wants to work out more often
