When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Gardener hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Tanner work with an outfit from a few towns over. Tanner work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He's also a talented Priest, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
