He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Painter business.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Hugh was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greatsword.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he's looking for his big break

History: Joser lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

Lamlis took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up axe and armor he uses now. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.
