Personality: Panana hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She was raised in a desert tribe. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Tanner. She has achieved small success as a Tanner.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Tanner responsibilities is difficult; and sabotage a competitor

His attire stands in sharp contrast to his sickle, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a card on it. His gray fur is lengthy. His eyes are hazel and beady.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his dancing with anyone who is interested.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Description: He is lean but muscular and wears a brown collared shirt and black pants. He accessorizes with a grey scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across his shirt. His fur, while still mostly gray, has prominent grey streaks. His hazel unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He worked as a nervous Bookbinder and found it very stressful. During his travels, Beast and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Beast discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Beast fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. After a long history of fighting, Bryseis and her spouse have recently divorced.

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. His beige fur is kept up in a ponytail inside a wide-brimmed hat. He has several tiny jet earrings on each ear.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born into a rich family. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was granted divine powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: She feels threatened by others; and she is terrified, and will act out of fear

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Valanthe was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
