History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Astar grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Astar. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Doctor arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Tabaxi activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tabaxi doctor. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

History: She was born in a small island village. Through the years after Mumpena was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west.
