History: Portia hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Portia has worked very hard to control her curse. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She was born in the west. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 5 years.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has achieved small success as a Bellfounder.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.

Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He struck the Tailor job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Painter for hire.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and wants to open a new tavern

History: Berrian was born the youngest of three triplets. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
