Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.
History: Oriff was raised in a hard working conservative environment. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

Description: With grey face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears silk and lounges about seductively. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.
Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.
History: He was born at the edge of vast island. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He bought a sickle and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and seeks redemption

Personality: Ruloth is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Stableman they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Knight, and she later adopted a second daughter.
Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud.

Description: He has a missing right leg. He is wearing a tight black one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. His purple hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a cross scrunchie. He is baby faced.
Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Brewer father left him crippled. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.
History: His druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He always admired druidic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Carpenter responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: Kipper is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.
History: Kipper hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Kipper was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.
Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

History: Vonana lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

After coming to the age of reason, Drusilia took it upon herself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
