Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Burgell and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Tanner. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He uses divination through singing.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Burto was born the youngest of three triplets. Burto abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she has money and likes to spend it

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She was born in the east. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Baker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To protect her home; and wishes to resurrect an old love
