She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Being a Soapmaker kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Elegant's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Elegant was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Malquis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Malquis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Malquis. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.
