History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Volen was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Volen's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Faral is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Dilettante hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Server.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Server and was forced into it by her family; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Uzza was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Orc conditions. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Healer but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She was born at the edge of vast island. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Healer. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
