Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Masseuse who has hired him part-time. The war was a terrible time for him, and Manfred does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Manfred fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Lucan hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Oda's homeland. Oda decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
