History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Jheri alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Anne was born with her mother's beautiful face. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: She was born into a rich family. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Motivation: Revenge; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Born to a Mercenary, his father struggled to pay the bills. His first spouse was a Mercenary, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Dara was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Synthrin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

History: Fargas was born with his father's beautiful face. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has never given up on his painting dream.
