History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Vaina alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. During her travels, Vaina and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Vaina discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Vaina fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.
