History: Burgell hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Burgell alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Burgell was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. Being a Bather kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

History: Veloptima was born with her father's beautiful face. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She's also a talented Scribe, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
