History: He comes from a rich northern family. A gifted student he started as a Dyer, but he got bored and became a Bricklayer. He has achieved small success as a Bricklayer.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Shivering hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Shivering alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it
