Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Gerald was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the east. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of orcs once and for all.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Gardener. Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Dara lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was taken from her home at a very young age. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Knight they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Seamstress, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. Now she works as a writing tutor during her time off.

History: Drusilia was raised in a hard working conservative environment. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She can't help but pocket interesting objects she comes across

History: Born in the west to a Knight, Bree learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Knight work with an outfit from a few towns over. Knight work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Roofer who has hired him part-time. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Roofer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Pikar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end.
